Asking our friends and family to give donations to Brooke instead of gifts for our wedding anniversary, was a wonderful way to celebrate our special occasion. My husband and I have been married for 25 years and already have everything we need and wanted to mark our anniversary by doing something different.
I have been supporting Brooke for many years and as a teacher myself, I strongly believe in educating people to help themselves and their families. We're both animal lovers and value being part of a charity that improves the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules overseas. Yet, Brooke has another side as well and that is also helping the families that depend on these magnificent animals, which I think is just wonderful.
The day itself was magical and we were really lucky to have so many friends and family come and celebrate with us.

I also buy virtual gifts from Brooke as Christmas presents for family and friends which I think is a good way of raising awareness of the organisation and everyone loves them.
Brooke staff were very supportive, providing us with attractive information leaflets and envelopes where guests could Gift Aid their donations. They kept in touch before, after and even on the day.
