Jersey volunteers raise £800 for working animals
The Brooke Jersey Supporters Group has raised more than £800 for Brooke, at a second hand tack sale last month.
The Supporters Group hosted a successful clothing and tack sale in aid of working horses, donkeys and mules in St Ouen, Jersey, on 8 and 9 March.
Founded 24 years ago, the Jersey group is part of a large network of volunteer groups for Brooke, who raise valuable funds to support the charity’s mission.
Hopefully this amount will help give some relief to the many working animals who have so little.

Commitee member of the Brooke Jersey Supporters Group, Michèle Masterton, said: “Our garage was transformed into a bustling tack store for the weekend!
“Local horse owners shopped for bargains for horses, whilst humans enjoyed hot drinks and homemade brownies."
Money raised for Brooke makes lasting improvements to the lives of over 100 million working horses, donkeys and mules who support 600 million people.
