Brooke India celebrates partnerships with leading veterinary institutions
MoU signing with the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences
Despite added challenges caused by the Covid-19 crisis, this year Brooke India has formed partnerships with a number of top veterinary universities and institutions. These partnerships are expected to facilitate the upskilling of thousands of veterinary students and professional field vets, providing equine owners with better access to professional veterinary care for their animals.
The institutions include Kamdhenu University, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, and the Institute of Rural Management Anand.
The partnerships will ensure that students receive teaching on key issues including animal handling, animal welfare, and farriery, as well as educational visits to equine fairs to see Brooke’s vital work with owners.
Having already seen the benefits of educating veterinary students through existing partnerships, Brooke India aims to establish further partnerships with veterinary universities in all states it operates in. It is hoped that by growing and strengthening Brooke’s professional networks, there will be a lasting improvement in the lives of working equines and their communities.
