MyHackathon – Hack100

Support the Hack100 challenge to improve water access for thirsty donkeys in Kenya and the communities who depend on them. Your donation will help our dedicated community of fundraisers who are hacking 100 miles in 100 days to reach their target. This year, we’re aiming to raise £25,000 - but we need your help! How your donations are spent

Your caring donation will directly improve conditions for donkeys and other livestock, ensuring they no longer have to trek up to 20km a day, carrying 80kg of water on their backs.

You will help fund a more sustainable approach by repairing existing water infrastructure and replacing diesel pumps with solar-powered systems. This will provide a cheaper, cleaner and more reliable long-term solution for communities that depend on donkeys for water access.

All money raised or donated to the Hack100 challenge will go directly towards providing clean, reliable water for donkeys and their communities in Kenya. Our goal is to raise £25,000 to complete vital water projects in Kitui and Turkana. Thank you.

If we don’t reach our target, Brooke will cover the shortfall to ensure these projects still go ahead. If we exceed our goal, additional funds will support even more water projects in other areas of Kenya, bringing lasting change to even more donkeys and the people who rely on them.
