Online Christmas talk

Working horses, donkeys and mules deserve to be handled with care. Learn how Brooke is making a difference in our special Christmas talk!

Join us online as our Global Animal Welfare Advisor, Sophie Hill, shares her expertise on compassionate handling and her experiences from the field.

Handling plays a huge part in the daily lives of working horses, donkeys and mules. These animals work and live alongside people, meaning that handling is one of the most frequent events they experience. The way they are treated can make a profound difference to their wellbeing and, sadly, poor handling can result in lasting psychological and physical harm.

This online event will showcase how our work on the ground working with communities and educating animal health practitioners is creating lasting change for working animals. Over half of our work is made possible thanks to gifts in Wills, and we are incredibly grateful to receive them. It is because of these generous gifts that we’re able to continue to champion these compassionate handling practices and improve the lives of working horses, donkeys, and mules around the world.

There will be a chance for questions and answers with Sophie at the end.
