Diana Taylor
Diana Taylor and her father shared a deep love of animals. When he died, she set up the Bob Cunningham tribute fund, which allows Diana and her friends and family to raise funds for Brooke in his memory.
“After flying missions in a Lancaster in World War 2, Dad went on to demonstrate colour television behind the Iron Curtain! As he approached retirement, he worked tirelessly for charity. He was always on the side of those who were unable to help themselves and would have loved Brooke for the same reasons I do.
"It was very easy and I had lots of support from everyone at Brooke. It’s lovely having something to work for that is so much bigger than me, and to be able to make a difference.
"The fund honours him by keeping his spirit and what he believed in alive and working through me. We have become a team.”
Dad always appreciated my love of animals, especially horses, and bought me my first pony, Cochise when I was 16. He worked his socks off fencing a small field for Cochise. I’d already been a supporter of Brooke for several years when Dad died. It was the most natural thing in the world to open a tribute fund in his memory.
